For investors & strategic partners

Backing Africa’s
integrated digital health platform.

Therasafety is the first company building African healthcare as a connected platform rather than nine separate startups. One identity layer. Nine products. Built in Nigeria. Open to capital and strategic partnership from the US, UK, Africa, and the world.

Why now

The largest under-served
healthcare market on Earth.

Africa is the demographic story of the next 30 years and the biggest digital health gap in the world. Nigeria is where the opportunity is most concentrated and most urgent.

1.4B
African population

The largest under-served healthcare market on the planet, growing faster than any other continent.

$259B
African health spending by 2030

Projected total annual healthcare expenditure across Africa within the next 5 years. Almost none of it currently flows through integrated digital infrastructure.

Integrated platforms today

No African healthtech company has built a pan-product platform around a shared identity layer. Every existing player is a single-feature business.

200M+
Nigerians in our anchor market

Nigeria is the largest single healthtech opportunity in Africa: high population, growing smartphone penetration, expanding NHIA mandate, and a regulator (NDPA) we are aligned with from day one.

The moat

What competitors
cannot replicate.

Healthtech investors get pitched single-feature point solutions every week. Therasafety is a different shape. Four sources of durable, compounding advantage that take years to build and cannot be acquired with capital alone.

We own the identity layer.

NaijaHealth, our patient-identity spine, is built on NIN/BVN rails. Once it reaches critical mass it becomes the de-facto medical record for Nigerian patients. That is not a feature any single-product competitor can replicate by raising more money.

Proprietary African-language clinical models.

Theralab and Theramind run on Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo clinical NLP models tuned with Nigerian medical professionals. English-only competitors miss 70% of how patients actually describe symptoms here. As we expand into Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and beyond, each product takes on a country-specific name local users already trust — Theramind launches as HowBody in Nigeria, with country-native names rolling out across Africa.

The platform compounds.

Each product makes the next one stronger. Symptoms surfaced in HowBody feed Vigil surveillance signals. Insurance claims in NoWahala pre-authenticate via NaijaHealth. The marginal cost of launching product 10 is a fraction of product 1.

Regulator alignment from day one.

NDPA-compliant by design. NHIA-aligned. NAFDAC-aligned. Building trust with Nigerian and African regulators is a multi-year investment that compounds into license to operate, not a switch we can flip later.

Team

Founder-led.
Founding team in place.

Therasafety is led by Chukwuka Abraham Obiechie, with deep experience in AI/ML, engineering, healthcare product development and management, and NHS England frontline care. Our founding executive team spans technology, clinical leadership, and operations: a CTO with AI/ML depth, a Chief Clinical Director with emergency medicine background, and a COO leading pan-African operations and strategic partnerships. We are building the advisory board across clinicians, regulators, and pan-African healthcare operators, and welcoming new advisors who want to help shape the future of integrated African digital health.
